Robert Pullar

Active Threat and De-escalation Instructor

Robert is a Police Officer with a metro-area Minnesota police department and serves as a certified Active Threat instructor, Firearms instructor, and member of a metro SWAT team. Throughout his career, he has provided training to law enforcement agencies, businesses, schools, and other private organizations focused on preparedness and response to critical incidents.

After training under Drew and Rich, Robert became a certified BEST instructor. His passion for teaching is driven by a commitment to helping others develop the knowledge, confidence, and mindset needed to protect themselves and those around them during high-stress emergencies.

Robert has instructed numerous Active Threat courses and believes that mental preparedness is just as important as physical response. His practical, experience-based approach equips participants with realistic strategies for recognizing threats, making sound decisions under pressure, and increasing their chances of surviving an active threat in the workplace or public settings.

Above all, Robert understands the importance of making it home safely at the end of the day. His mission is to provide every student with the skills, awareness, and confidence needed to respond effectively when it matters most.
